Hi folks, Joined the forum to ask some advice on a project I'm working on. I have fitted bi-xenon projectors in my car that used to use a two bulb set up for the high/low beams. The low main beam halogen bulb has been replaced by an HID bulb and comes on with the usual switch and the high beam My car is due for inspection in December and I need to resolve my bi-xenon high beam issue. 2007 E91 with adaptive bi-xenon headlights. I flip the left stalk forward and the bright light indicator comes on and the high beam cut-off flap lifts to expose the full beam, then drops back to low beam, however the indicator still says it is high beam. You can always put a working one from one side into the side that is not working and you can see if it is just the bulb. If just the bulb is burned out you should have a warning that pops up. I did. (xenon bulb swapped to test and ok) 2) PS high beam works when activated. Get educated on your headlight operation. Turn signal stock pushed forward is bixenon high beams via the shutter. Turn signal stock pulled back is flash-to-pass halogen (inner) high beams. Need to “divide and conquer” to isolate the failed part (s), then fix/replace.
